The Project Is intended to add value to locally made botanical and non-plant agents, to produce efficient pesticides. The project focuses on production of bankable business plans, and feasibility studies for usable and sellable products and related IPs leading to sustainable pest management, income generation and enhanced research
The overall goal of the project is to improve food security in Tanzania through the development and optimization of plant-based pest management technologies that are simple, effective, reliable, safe, low-cost and appropriate for the control of field and storage insect pests of legumes and cereal crops.
This exchange program, will host 2 PhD students, 1 training staff, and 1 Teaching staff from NM-AIST to the University of Milano Bicocca.
